swine flu in that country. She died on Sunday morning, a Sin-gapore ministry of health
statement quoted in Straits Times website said. She was 27.
A resident of Nagpur, her family had moved to Singapore about a year ago. She was admitted to Changi General Hospital's Emergency Department on July 23 with a four-day history of fever, cough and lethargy. She was admitted to ICU and intubated but her condition deteriorated.
The cause of death has been given as acute myocardial infarction, with H1N1 infection and pneumonia as contributing factors. She had no other known underlying medical conditions, the statement said.
