Mirah defers launch of townships

Projects Today reported that Mumbai headquartered Mirah Group, engaged in real estate development, hospitality, travels etc has deferred its plan to launch its township projects at Nagpur, Pune and Thane by end September 2009.

As per report, Mirah has planned an integrated township in Nagpur to span over 370 acre with an outlay of INR 5,000 crore. A SPV has been created for this purpose with 2 partners.

As for Pune and Thane, the group has 120 acre in each location. The Pune town ship will have a floor space index of 60 million square feet, comprising low cost, affordable and high end housing, besides commercial, office, hospitality and retail spaces.
