553 birth anniversary of Buddha to be celebrated on May 9

The 2553 birth anniversary of world messenger of peace Lord Gautam Buddha will be celebrated with enthusiasm at Karuna Buddha Vihar 1250 Tulasi Nagar, Bhopal on May 9 under the aegis of the Buddhist Society of India at 11 am. The Chief Guest of the Ceremony will be the Cultural and Public Relation Minister MP Government Laxmikant Sharma. The Mayor of Bhopal Municipal Corporation Sunil Sood will be the special guest. On this occasion the former Minister and the MLA Bhopal South- West Zone Umashankar Gupta and the Ward Corporator Amit Sharma of ward 32 will be present. In this ceremony the litterateur and head of Dr Ambedkar Department, Nagpur University Dr Pradeep Aaglawe will be the chief speaker. The National President of the Buddhist Society of India Chandrabodhi Patil will preside over the meeting. In the ceremony the guests would distribute prize to the winner participants of different sports competition concluded on April 28 prize. After the anniversary ceremony free medical check up camp will be organised. Candle rally will be taken out at 7 PM for the world peace from Karuna Buddha Vihar, which will reach at Dr Ambedkar anniversary ground at 8 PM passing through the different paths of Bhopal.
